Dibboraj Biswas Ms. Wang Multimedia 3 March 2025 The Starry Night’s Deep Dive The Starry Night, painted by the renowned Vincent van Gogh, has through its life boomed in popularity. Being painted in 1889, it has proven to us that it is a timeless piece that, as far as we can see, is not going anywhere any time soon. This is prevalent by how it has continued to attract and bring attention to itself for over two centuries from all over the world. As it is today, the painting is here in New York, which I found quite surprising. Infact, as it is, the painting rests itself in the Museum of Modern Art. At face value, I really like the artist and unique style of the painting that I have yet to be replicated in the timeless classic of the Starry Night. They work as a freelancer providing their graphic expertise for others to buy and for them to create. When do you wake up? Being a graphic designer and a freelancer at that, Kumar strictly wakes up at 10. What hardware do you use? They are equipped with two main tools, a Microsoft Surface Book 2 being his main tool and a stylus pen. How do you manage the workload? By setting up due dates at the end of day, they push themselves to creating something they are proud of and are able to give to the buyer. How do you communicate to the buyer and understand the audience? They start of by creating many rough sketches and then creating a logo or design based around that.   I learned a lot through using Photoshop in just one marking period. I learned the foundation and now as we progress forward, have been learning the smaller things that lead to very complex designs. Another major thing I learned was how to use text and how to clip images in them to make them more visually distinct. One thing I could improve on for next marking period was making sure I put all the images in their appropriate place in both google classroom and google drive. One glow would be my determination to creating a result that I can proudly claim as mine. 

  The subject of this poster is Charmander. The slogan I used for this poster is flamethrower as it is one of the moves the pokemon can use. I had 9 layers in total. The first being the background which I would change to a reddish pink. After that cam my name. Then comes Charmander which I made 3 copies of. The first one is in the back, the second being a yellow and finally a red Charmander. Both the red and yellow used the overlay with 80% effect. Finally the flamethrower layer came in on the right side which was altered to be on surrounding the subject. 

  For this project I took a background wallpaper from google. I then took that background photo and made sure it fit the frame of the Iphone 13 mini. Finally I made the tex t groovy and made sure the overlapping parts are invisible. 

Graphic Layer 1= The space background, I took it from Google and would make it darker than the original.  Layer 2= The earth image had to be masked to remove the background Lay 3= Then I added an eclipse to make a circle around the Earth to filter it and change the look of the Earth further.  Text Layer 4= Added a vertical text layer to the side of the earth.  Layer 5= Then I added a cloud image inside the text.  Overall design reflection: (which text method did you use for your flyer screenshot of your final design. I placed an image inside the text to give it more flare and stand out more.

Layer 1= I added a photo of me in the classroom and using tutorial 3 I changed the brightness and contrast.  Layer 2= The music notes used blending the image from tutorial 2 and I used color burn to get it as it was.  Layer 3= I added the cat at the bottom tool using the transform tool from tutorial 4 and slid it to the bottom left. I also used the eraser tool to make a mask I believe.  Layer 4= I added the Brawl Stars and star drop and I simply titled and repositioned the object. I used the selection tool from tutorial 5 to add more details to the stars like the glow.  Layer 5= I finally added the schedule and I moved the layer from being the first to last to make sure it did not become ineligible using tutorial 1.  Overall design reflection: (what was easy / hard for you to do?) screenshot of your final design. Multimedia revolves around many things as it states in the word it is “multi.” It can exist in text, images, audio, video, and even animation. Each one of these possesses a different type of skill set and whatnot. Photoshop is what always much of this happen. It can create digitally engaging pictures as it can change tint and color or even create anything we have in our imagination. Photoshop allows for engaging thumbnails and photos that we would not see without. This leads me on to careers, one would be if you are a model. If you could take the little imperfections of the photo such as people in the background or the glow of certain objects and change them, photoshop can do all that. It is what I would consider something revolutionary for people in this medium. In our modern world of the 21st century, jobs are always looking for someone versatile and someone who various skill sets, this is one of them.
